GIVERNY
In 1883, the Impressionist painter Claude Monet rented a house in the small village of Giverny, where he worked until his death. The house, known as the Fondation Claude Monet, is decorated in the colour schemes that Monet admired. The gardens are famous as the subject of some of the artist's studies. Nearby, you may visit the American Art Museum.
