In the morning, you will enjoy an overview of the Paris highlights: Place de l'Etoile, the Trocadéro, the Eiffel Tower, the Invalides, with Napoleon's tomb. Then drive through famous left-bank sites: Saint Germain des Prés and Latin Quarter, where you view the Panthéon and the Luxembourg Palace and gardens. On the Ile Saint Louis, visit the magnificent Notre Dame Cathedral. Then see the Place de la Bastille, with its Opera House, drive through the typical Marais quarter and see the gorgeous Place des Vosges. Then on to Montmartre, the Place de l'Opéra, the Louvre Museum, the Place Vendôme, the Place de la Concorde, and end with drive along the world-famous Champs Elysées.
In the afternoon, you will see the world-famous Versailles Palace built for King Louis XIV by architects Louis Le Vau and Jules Hardouin Mansart. Visit the sumptuous main apartments on the first floor where the climax is the Hall of Mirrors, where 17 great mirrors face tall arched windows. See, too, the Royal Chapel, and walk through the splendid gardens designed by André Le Notre. You may also visit the Musée des Carosses housing a collection of royal carriages. Also in the Versailles gardens, the Grand and Petit Trianons (small palaces), as well as the charming Marie Antoinette farm, await your visit.
